In September 2020, Yoo Capital Investment Management acquired the controlling 75.5% interest in Shepherd’s Bush Market from U+I Plc (LON: UAI) who retains a 24.5% minority interest.

Originally established in 1918, Shepherd’s Bush Market is one of London’s most historic and beloved markets. Situated in West London, the site involves a total of 4.2 acres, including adjoining land available for a mixed-use development with the opportunity to deliver critically needed affordable housing and affordable workspace.

Yoo Capital has spent the last two years consulting with Shepherd’s Bush Market traders, Hammersmith and Fulham Council and the local community. An application will shortly be submitted for investment in the Market along with a new development providing office space, co-working space, a life sciences incubator managed by Imperial College London and 40 affordable new homes for Hammersmith and Fulham.
